Parker

Parker mixes both urban and small town feel, as the second most populated town in Douglas County.

Welcome to Parker

Parker mixes both urban and small town feel as well as being the second most populated town in Douglas County. Located 20 miles southeast of Denver, just under 50,000 people call Parker their home. There is much to do in and around town! Near historic Main Street, you can find many activities such as Wine Walks, Concerts in the Park, Parker Days, and Christmas Parades. Not to mention the close proximity to the mountains, Parker is just a few hours away from some of the greatest ski resorts in the state. With the ability to feel worlds away from neighboring urban city Denver, Parker locals love the wide open spaces and community like feel of the town.

Parker is increasingly growing in popularity! The majority of the homes in Parker are single family homes with acreage and room for animals. If you want something a little smaller, there are condos and townhouses still allowing for access to the great shops and restaurants. A few new community developments are popping up near the west side of town such as Heirloom, Stepping Stone and on the south side of town the Richmond community is growing. Near Main Street, some commercial development is happening, which is increasing the walkability of downtown and a fun small town feel with access to quality shopping and entertainment. Parker offers a wide variety of home types and price ranges. It is still affordable with access to good public schools.
